National Conclave – Women for Good Governance

On October 28th 2017, a grand conclave of women from across the country titled ‘WOMEN for GOOD GOVERNANCE’ was organized at NMKRV College for Women, Bangalore. The aim of the conclave was to bring women activists together on one platform. The purpose of the conclave was to highlight and create awareness for women to influence, motivate and drive transformation by persuading them to play a critical role in empowering themselves and their communities to bring about Social, Economic and Political transformation in the country. The team consisted of professionals, entrepreneurs, political leaders, policy makers and social activists.

The platform seeks to showcase influential Women Achievers, seek their inputs and kick start Women for Good Governance Movement / Drive in India. The speakers for the conclave included Smt. Mridula Sinha, Hon’ble Governor of Goa, Mr. Muralidhar Rao, National General Secretary, BJP, Smt. Anupriya Patel, MoS – Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Kum. Shobha Karandlaje, Member of Parliament, Dr. S. R. Leela, Ex. Member of Legislative Council, Dr. Arathi V.B., Behavioral and Softskills trainer, Ms. P. Bineesha, Executive Director, International Institute of Waste Management (IIWM), Dr. Rajni Sarin, Doctor and Independent Director and Smt. Sarojni Muthanna, Senior Advocate.
