Capacity Building Training on Bio Medical & E-Waste Management, Indore
Event Details
International Institute of Waste Management (IIWM) organized a One day Capacity building/training on “Bio-medical & E-Waste Management” on 4th May 2017 at Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore, which may prove to be important in developing regional approach to biomedical & e-waste management. The target participants were the medical personnel’s, paramedical staff. A total of 70 participants attended this programme.
Objectives
- Understanding the policy guidelines, rules and regulations on Bio-medical & e–waste management
- Understanding the new technologies available for safe disposal of biomedical and e-waste from environment friendly point of view and infection control in hospitals
- Providing knowledge about strategies on segregation, handling, management and disposal techniques for biomedical and e-waste management
- Provide knowledge about the economic issues involved in management of biomedical & e-waste and rules of public private partnership
